UK Budget pulls Category B machines into 25% Machine Games Duty rate from April 2027
A lower threshold means bingo halls, betting shops and casinos will pay the top 25% Machine Games Duty rate on Category B machines from April 2027, with a separate consultation proposing to shift duty liability onto machine suppliers from April 2028.
