Colombia Moves to Revive 19% VAT on Online Gambling Deposits in New Tax Reform Bill
Article 41 of Bill 477/2026C, the Ley de Rescate Económico, would bring internet gambling into Colombia's general VAT regime with a deposit-based taxable base, while resetting the taxable bases for slots, tables and bingo seats. The bill is still in committee.
