Leading multi-channel supplier of 24/7 live betting services, Sports Information Services (SIS), has further strengthened its profile in South America by agreeing a deal with RETAbet Group to take its 24/7 high margin esports betting product, SIS Competitive Gaming.

The new agreement follows the rollout of the SIS 24/7 Live Horse and Greyhound Channels to the operator earlier this year, which now sees its Esoccer and Ebasketball head-to-head esports events added to its portfolio of round-the-clock betting opportunities.

RETAbet’s customers can now enjoy watching and betting on live, 24/7 head-to-head competitive gaming events between highly skilled gamers on NBA2K and FIFA online and within RETAbet shops and bars, with both titles hugely popular in the region.

The SIS end-to-end Competitive Gaming content solution provides live streamed pictures, commentary, on-screen graphics with betting triggers and data, plus an extensive range of pre-match and in-play markets for over 150,000 live events a year which has proven to drive significant revenues and margins for operators internationally.

Angel Calderon, Head of Sales (LatAm & Iberia) at SIS, says: “This extension is another important landmark in a region of great potential. The popularity of esports is growing consistently among fans and bettors here, and we’re now able to provide our superior market-leading solution to engage with that community.

“Our offering is perfectly placed to complement the short-form, always-on experience that RETAbet customers have with our Live Betting Channels, so we’re confident the reception is going to be strong.”

Igor Extremo, COO at RETAbet Group, adds: “We are delighted to build on the fantastic partnership we already have with SIS through which we’ve already seen an increase in betting traffic, so to add the opportunity to replicate that through its Competitive Gaming products is a real boost.

“The comprehensive and bespoke nature of what we can now offer across Esoccer and Ebasketball is a substantial evolution in an area that continues to gain in popularity and will undoubtedly have a positive effect on revenues and margin.”
