Aggregator and content provider, Relax Gaming, has agreed a deal to supply Colombian operator, MegApuestas, with its portfolio of tier-one games, making the provider’s titles available in this key Latin American market for the very first time.
Initially, MegApuestas will benefit from Relax’s proprietary content, taking its full portfolio live, including its 94% RTP range, with hits including Temple Tumble, Money Train 2 and Banana Town.
With multiple operators set to reap the rewards of rapid growth across Colombia, Relax expects to announce additional partnerships within the country in the near future.
Alexia Smilovic Rønde, Chief Regulatory Officer at Relax says: “We are delighted to have entered the LatAm market through Colombia. The high pace at which we are expanding globally is deeply encouraging, especially with this new jurisdiction that boasts such a high regulatory profile.
“We have effectively capitalised on previous jurisdictional experience to achieve an extremely fast time to market. We will certainly keep a close eye on regional regulatory developments to continue our successful journey in this part of the world.”
Nadiya Attard, CCO at Relax, adds: “The Colombian market was one of the first in Latin America to thoroughly regulate online gambling and has been progressing steadily every year. It is with great pride that we enter the market with the operating powerhouse MegApuestas.
“Their longstanding reputation and local demand will ensure Relax Gaming gets off to an exceptional start in this extremely promising market. We look forward to launching our proprietary content within Colombia with leading titles, and the business growth to come.”
Daniela Asaftei, Head of CRM at MegApuesta, said: “We could not be happier to introduce Relax’s portfolio to our Colombian players and are delighted that they chose MegApuesta for their entrance into Latin America. We are certain Relax’s games will provide our players with an entirely new level of entertainment, and we cannot wait to see how they react when these are made available to them.”
