The Austrian operating giant, Novomatic, has been granted the sixth German online slots licence, joining a growing list of licensees. This licence new will enable Novomatic’s subsidiary, BluBet Operations, to operate under the novoline.de domain in the country.
The first of the six operators to be given an online slots licence was Mernov, a joint venture between Novomatic and Merkur. Further licences went to Tipwin and Ruleo, back in June, but this business is now known as Deutsche Gesellschaft für Glücksspiel (DGGS), following a restructure.
Just last week, Slotmagie and Merkur became the fourth and fifth operators to receive online slots licences in Germany, meaning that both Novomatic and Merkur – partners in Mernov – now also have their own licences also.
